Key accountabilities

Handle and assist in the management of physical Currency ( Coins & Banknotes ) including previous and current series. Forecasting: Performing and managing short-term and long-term forecasting models and consistently run back testing on the models to ensure model relevance. Ensure adequacy of physical currency along with required buffers, and timely delivery fulfillment. Analyzing Large Data Sets: Understand behaviors and identify anomalies based on data. End User Demand & Maintaining Trust: Ensuring the currency at hand meets the current demands of different end users whether from general public or institutions equipped with specialized equipment to enable the swift exchange of physical Currency as medium of payment. Current demands may entail using appropriate security features and substrate quality depending on the behavior of wear and tear among other factors. Research & Development: Stay abreast of developments in the physical currency industry and propose relevant findings and developments. Includes development in enhanced security features or the use of enhanced materials. Public Awareness: Assist in educating the public about the Currency varying features including security features. Procuring, Contracting and Management of Contract: Carry out procuring operations from quotation, contract negotiations of terms & conditions, contract signing and managing the contract till fulfillment stage. Lead Time: Monitoring lead times with current suppliers to identify any delays and appropriately elevate. External Asset & Production Register: Maintain up to date registers with strict version control and reconciliation records. Request for Delivering Currency: After obtaining authorization and pre-determined certificates, the person shall initiate and oversee the request and delivery of ready Currency. Payment Management: Ensure organized schedule of payment with appropriate record control. Quality Assurance: Ensure appropriate certifications are obtained to provide assurance on the quality of Currency fitness and whether the Currency are as per contractual terms before circulation and to preserve the Central Bank of Bahrain s rights of recourse. The responsibility also entails to initiate an enquiry with suppliers on any defects that have come to the Central Bank of Bahrain s attention. Risk Management: Staying abreast of global events that might cause supply chain disruptions whether at supplier level or sub-contractor level to properly identify potential risk and elevate with appropriate solutions to manage such risk. Off Site Arrangements & Traveling Abroad: The person responsible shall be willing and able to go to off-site assignments and to travel abroad. This is to ensure appropriate discharge of responsibility pertaining to overseeing production, destruction, delivery processes and training, among other assignments. Managing Museum Portfolio: Assist in managing & safekeeping the portfolio of Currency, commemorative coins & medals and other artefacts classified as museum assets. Curating: Guiding visitors within the museum to enhance their knowledge. Organizing individual or group tours, workshops & events, as well as showcasing museum artefacts at external events. Museum Experience & Docent Notes: Maintaining appealing showcased artefacts and docent notes targeting varying stakeholders based on their length of visit. Museum Ambiance: Maintain the ambiance of the museum by ensuring cleanness, smell, lighting, d cor and space. Conducting daily and monthly reports and checklists. Awareness & Footfall: The person responsible shall increase public s awareness regarding the museum and its artefacts in order to increase the footfall. This also includes improving and making it easy for guests to request visits. Research & Knowledge: Research and be abreast of knowledge regarding the currency artefacts. This also involves identifying and appropriately recommending museum Artefacts to be acquired by the Central Bank of Bahrain to enhance the museum portfolio and showcased artefacts. Reports & Records: Reports shall be maintained regarding museum visitors, giveaways, experience rating and cleaning & maintenance log. While also ensuring safe keeping of guest feedback book. Initiation & Research: Identify opportunities for developing commemorative coins and medals. In case of event specific commemorative coins and medals, proper concept research shall be done while maintaining accurate facts. Design Concept: Formulating strong design concepts of the coin or medal, certificates and packaging. Project Management: The person shall manage the projects on an end-to-end basis, from design phase, procuring till delivery fulfillment stage.

Bachelor s degree in Banking/Finance/Economics/Data Analytics or equivalent. Minimum Experience: 1-5 years in relevant field
