Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a spa therapist.
• Fast learner on new machines.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques.
• Certificate in massage.

Responsibilities

• Performing different types of massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies.
• Maintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and therapies performed on each spa guest.
• Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.
• Ensuring all spa standards are followed.
• Promoting and selling customized spa programs to guests.
• Being familiar with all areas of the spa operation, including product knowledge and retail sales.
• Providing massage and body treatment services to guests using props and/or products.
• Assessing guest needs and inquiring about contraindications before beginning service.
• Keeping up to date with current techniques and modalities related to their field of work.
• Escorting guests to and from treatment rooms and arranging workstation and treatment room.

Spa therapist

We are looking to employ a dedicated and experienced spa therapist to perform massages, beauty treatments, and wellness therapies, depending on guest's needs and preferences. The responsibilities include greeting and welcoming spa guests, informing guests of spa packages, promotions, and rates, and customizing treatments and therapies to suit guests' needs. You should also be able to recommend additional spa services and up-sell spa products.
