Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PDR (Smart Repair) Technician to join our automotive repair team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs including paintless dent removal (PDR), minor paint touch-ups, bumper and panel repairs, and polishing. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional workmanship while ensuring timely job completion in line with OEM standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve all productivity and efficiency targets set by the department.
- Dismantle and re-install necessary vehicle parts, ensuring compliance with OEM standards.
- Repair, respray, and manage cosmetic damage on body parts such as bumpers, panels, etc.
- Perform paintless dent removal, machine polishing, and minor paint and scratch repairs.
- Install accessories and align body parts as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Organize and utilize workshop tools and resources efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of quality, ensuring no damage to customer vehicles during repair.
- Submit progress reports regularly to supervisors or as required.
- Adhere to all Environment, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ) standards and policies.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Secondary School Certificate or relevant Diploma.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in smart repair or a related automotive repair field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of PDR techniques, cosmetic repairs, and body shop tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and repair manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
