Job summary

ITC Defense Corp. in Bahrain seeks a Senior Systems Engineer – Radar & Communications Systems to support international Border and Coastal Surveillance System programs. You will contribute to system architectures, interfaces, documentation, and the integration of radar, communications, and surveillance systems for defense programs.

The role requires extensive travel (CONUS and OCONUS), experience with DoD programs, and strong systems engineering skills across lifecycle phases. U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible systems engineering experience in DoD or equivalent.
• Experience with radar, communications, sensor, surveillance, or C2 systems.
• Experience supporting border/coastal surveillance or maritime domain awareness.
• Strong knowledge of system development lifecycle and SE processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architectures, interface designs, and technical documentation for integrated surveillance and communications systems.
• Support SETRs and milestone reviews, maintaining ICDs, engineering baselines, and related artifacts.
• Prepare CDRL deliverables, test plans, and verification documentation.
• Conduct site surveys to optimize equipment placement, network design, and communications architecture.
• Assist with hardware/software integration, testing, installation, and field verification of radar, comms, and surveillance systems.
• Perform risk management, requirements verification, and configuration management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create technical memoranda, reports, briefs, and customer deliverables.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to customer personnel and project teams.
• Participate in customer meetings and design reviews; travel frequently CONUS/OCONUS, including extended overseas deployments.
