Job summary

KBR is seeking an experienced civil engineer to design and oversee infrastructure solutions that support critical missions for U.S. government customers in Bahrain and across the region.

You will apply engineering best practices, lead field investigations, review drawings, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, resilient facilities.

Required: BA/BS in civil engineering, 15+ years’ experience, PE license, U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in civil engineering required.
• 15+ years of civil engineering experience.
• US citizenship and an active U.S. Secret security clearance required.
• PE license issued by a U.S. state in civil engineering.
• Experience supporting public works or U.S. Government facility projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Studies, designs, specs, and services transportation systems, bridges, infrastructure, drainage, utilities, hydrology, water resources, tunnels and geotechnical design.
• Performs field investigations, engineering analyses, calculations, and develops statements of work, plans and specs.
• Reviews drawings and provides construction support to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Applies engineering principles and communicates complex issues to clients and teams.
• Functions as a technical specialist with authoritative recommendations on broad programs.
• Oversees coordination with multidisciplinary teams and contractors to deliver safe, compliant projects.
