Job summary

Nass Contracting is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead project planning, scheduling, and program controls across major construction and engineering projects in Bahrain. This role focuses on robust planning solutions, EVM, cash flow forecasting, risk-based scheduling, and strategic program oversight to support successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 5-10 years of planning and scheduling experience in construction or engineering projects.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior planning role.
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6, CPM scheduling, and project controls.
• Experience with Earned Value Management, resource/cost-loaded schedules, and cash flow forecasting.
• Knowledge of risk-based planning, delay analysis, claims support, and contractual requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Lead baseline programs, updates, recovery schedules, and look-ahead plans.
• Implement and monitor EVM and integrated cash flow forecasting.
• Establish WBS, coding standards, and planning procedures.
• Support tender planning, methodology development, and tender-stage cash flow.
• Conduct schedule analysis, CPM, delay analysis, TIA, and EOT support.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and provide early warnings on variances.
• Coordinate with commercial, finance, procurement, engineering, construction, and risk teams.
• Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into programs.
• Prepare dashboards and reports on schedule, EVM, risks, and cash flow.
• Mentor and develop planning team members.
