Job summary

Amana Healthcare in Bahrain is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services within a long-term care setting. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and support functional independence and daily living activities.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensure safe care, and contribute to discharge planning and caregiver education. Eligibility for NHRA license is required or ongoing licensure in Bahrain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Eligible for or holding a valid NHRA license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Minimum 4–8 years of clinical experience in occupational therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for patients with physical, neurological, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions.
• Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans aligned with patients’ rehabilitation goals.
• Provide advanced therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ functional independence, activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, cognition, and quality of life.
• Support discharge planning, including home assessments, equipment recommendations, and caregiver education.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in line with hospital policy and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and ethical practice at all times.
