Job summary

Zain Bahrain is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to lead design, development, and maintenance of .NET desktop, web, and API solutions. You will deliver scalable, secure systems and collaborate with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands‑on .NET (C#), REST/WCF services, SQL Server, and IIS deployment, with experience in high availability and DevOps workflows. Telecom exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on .NET (C#) including desktop, Windows services, and ASP.NET.
• Experience with WCF and RESTful services.
• Strong SQL Server knowledge: design, indexing, procedures, views.
• Experience designing load-balanced, fault-tolerant APIs.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET desktop, web, and API solutions.
• Lead integration of high-availability APIs and backend services.
• Implement secure REST and WCF services.
• Deploy applications on IIS with performance tuning and load balancing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Mentor other developers and lead estimation and planning sessions.
• Coordinate with DevOps for deployments and environment readiness.
• Support QA in testing and bug fixing.
• Participate in security best practices and industry trends.
