Job summary

Advanced Search Group in Bahrain is seeking a Senior Mendix Developer to join a leading banking client. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Mendix applications, applying best practices for performance, security, and reliability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive Mendix-based integration with enterprise systems while contributing to Agile development cycles and UAT support.

Qualifications

• Extensive Mendix development experience in a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of Mendix methodologies and tools.
• Experience with SDLC, Agile, and third-party integrations.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Mendix applications to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements
• Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment within Mendix
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability
• Stay updated on Mendix platform changes, features, and industry trends to enhance application capabilities
• Mentor and support team members in developing their Mendix skills and knowledge
• Document technical specifications, configurations, and changes in Mendix applications
• Engage with stakeholders to prioritize and manage project timelines effectively
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and agile methodologies
• Create and maintain integration solutions with other enterprise systems and databases
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in application development
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in user training as needed
