Job summary

• Maintain and administer the Airline Security Programme and related manuals, procedures and instructions.
• Ensure compliance with ICAO Annex 17, ICAO Doc 8973, NCASP, IOSA Security Standards and ACC3 requirements.
• Coordinate with Civil Aviation Authorities, airports, security agencies and law enforcement on security matters.
• Provide strategic oversight for security across maintenance hangars, cargo facilities and related capital projects.

Overall Role Purpose

The Senior Aviation Security Manager is the designated Airline Security Postholder responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the aviation security framework across the Middle East and Africa region. This role ensures full compliance with all applicable National Civil Aviation Security Programmes (NCASP), ICAO Annex 17 requirements, Airline Security Programmes, IOSA Standards, ACC3 requirements and all relevant aviation security regulations issued by National Civil Aviation Authorities.

The postholder is accountable for protecting aircraft, personnel, cargo, mail, facilities, aviation infrastructure, information and corporate reputation through effective security governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, threat intelligence, security assurance, fitness-for-duty oversight and crisis management. The role acts as the principal liaison with Civil Aviation Authorities, Airport Authorities, Security Agencies, Law Enforcement Agencies and key stakeholders regarding all aviation security matters.

In addition, the role provides strategic oversight for aviation security requirements relating to maintenance hangars, engineering facilities, cargo infrastructure and associated capital development projects, ensuring security principles are incorporated throughout the facility lifecycle from initial design through operational operation.

Your Tasks:

Aviation Security Governance & Regulatory Compliance

• Act as the designated Airline Security Postholder and Aviation Security Manager.
• Maintain and administer the Airline Security Programme and all supporting security manuals, procedures and instructions.

• Monitor emerging regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation.
• Act as primary liaison with regulatory authorities on all aviation security matters.
• Manage regulatory inspections, audits and validation activities.
• Ensure effective corrective action plans are developed, implemented and monitored following audits and inspections
• Maintain aviation security approvals, certifications and authorisations required by the airline
