Job summary

Eurofins is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to join a major enterprise transformation programme. You will design, evolve and modernise enterprise-scale platforms, ensuring performance, scalability and maintainability.

Based in a regulated environment, you will work with distributed teams across Europe and the UK, leading architectural decisions and delivering system-wide solutions while adhering to best practices and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development and architecture.
• Strong Java background (Java 11/17, Java EE/Jakarta EE).
• Database design and development expertise (PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with Eclipse RCP, SWT/JFace, and WildFly.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive solution architecture for enterprise applications
• Lead technical design activities and support implementation across distributed teams
• Contribute to modernisation and evolution of complex legacy systems
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure and high-performing
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders
• Support delivery throughout the full software development lifecycle
• Promote engineering best practices and architectural standards across teams
