Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. Bahrain seeks a senior mechanical/technical specialist to manage field-based installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across sites. The role requires hands-on overhaul of gas engines and reciprocating compressors, with emphasis on safety, reliability, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in major mechanical maintenance on gas engines and compressors.
• Workshop-based hands-on overhaul experience with Waukesha VHP series engines and Ariel compressors.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals; use precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical failures and operational issues.
• Coordinate field activities with operations, engineering, maintenance and HSE teams.
• Support shutdowns, turnarounds and commissioning projects.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide rapid technical support.
• Conduct hazard assessments and participate in incident investigations.
• Comply with Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE policies and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
