The successful candidate will advise internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance, governance matters, and dispute handling, while maintaining robust legal records and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law.
• Master's degree or higher or professional legal qualification would be an advantage.
• Minimum of seven years of relevant legal experience preferably in corporate/commercial law.
• Strong experience in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and legal risk assessment.
• Knowledge of corporate governance practices, board procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at different levels including regulators and external parties.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English with strong drafting skills in both languages.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on various commercial and corporate contracts including supply, service, procurement contracts, NDAs, MOUs.
• Providing legal advice and support to internal departments on corporate, commercial, regulatory and compliance matters.
• Supporting governance matters including preparation and review of Board and Committee documents, resolutions, minutes, policies and governance frameworks.
• Ensuring that the companys activities, contracts and processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and governance requirements.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including management, regulators and external counsel.
• Identifying legal risks and providing practical, commercially sound recommendations.
• Assisting in dispute management, claims, and coordination with external counsel when required.
• Maintaining proper legal records, contract registers, and corporate documents.
