Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Installing and configuring computer hardware (Servers, Desktops, laptops, etc.), operating systems, system drivers, and applications.
  2. Fixing equipment, including printers, scanners, Wi-Fi devices, etc.
  3. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and applications.
  4. Assisting staff/clients remotely or over the phone through a series of actions to help resolve IT-related issues.
  5. Troubleshooting IT systems and diagnosing hardware or software faults.
  6. Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
  7. Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
  8. Installing the necessary updates, patches, and service packs.
  9. Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs.
  10. Working continuously on assigned tasks until completion.
  11. Coordinating with local vendors to resolve equipment part failures, ensuring the optimum delivery and support level.
  12. Keeping track of reported desktop problems and associated solutions.
  13. Writing procedures for the installation, use, and troubleshooting of communications hardware and software.
  14. Troubleshooting all computer hardware, software, and network-related problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidate with valid Bahraini driving license preferred.
