Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Administration support for Microsoft Windows Servers at Data Centre
2. Administration support for Microsoft Exchange
3. Administration support for Microsoft 365
4. Troubleshooting Server related problems
5. Managing Server backups
6. Managing Traps Antivirus security
7. Coordinating with local vendors for equipment as and when required
8. Following up with the local vendors to resolve equipment failures, and ensure the delivery and support levels
9. Perform an assessment of each server’s configuration, performance, and security
10. Managing network communication Devices (Firewall, Routers, switches)
11. Managing Access Control Systems
12. Managing CCTV and IP Cameras
13. Configuration of servers
14. Updates, patches, and service packs
15. Managing Licenses, certificates, and hardware warranties
16. Exchange configuration, Queue size, resource utilization, Active Directory Configuration

24. Complete system installs and upgrades, installing new systems and assessing and implementing upgrades as needed.
25. Network Security Management: making sure all the necessary security-related programs are up-to date to their latest versions.
26. Oversee Data storage and Retrieval systems: Utilize effective data backup systems and have in place data retrieval processes in case of emergencies.
27. Maintaining continuous operation of all SIU servers, switches, routers, and IP telephony systems.
28. The day-to-day operation of troubleshooting end-user-related queries/problems.
29. Supporting the continuous operation of NVR and IP cameras within the premises.
30. Maintaining and troubleshooting network devices and peripherals.
31. Ensuring the installation of the latest security and update patches on Exchange servers.
32. Monitoring server performance logs and taking the necessary actions accordingly if required.
33. Ensuring optimum security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
34. Setting up user accounts and maintaining Active Directory.
35. Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing the impact of issues
36. Managing and maintaining File server shares.
37. Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
38. Monitor data center health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.
39. Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, and security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
40. Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups.
