Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML models in the oil and gas sector. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations, build data-driven insights, and drive safe, scalable AI solutions in challenging industrial environments.

The role requires extensive experience in AI/ML, data engineering, and integration with industrial control systems, with a focus on governance, bias mitigation, and ethical AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical engineering, AI, ML, or related field.
• Proven project delivery experience in industrial or energy sectors, with a preference for oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of oil & gas processes, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Experience in dynamic simulations using PFDs and P&IDs and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML project delivery from data ingestion to model deployment.
• Mentor a team of process engineers and ML engineers.
• Develop dynamic process simulations for plant scenarios.
• Implement ML for soft sensors and autonomous control.
• Ensure AI models are scalable and compliant with safety and governance policies.
