Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; professional qualification preferred.
3–6 years accounting experience in the insurance industry.
Strong experience in regulatory reporting, management reporting, and IFRS compliance.
Working knowledge of IFRS 17 and insurance accounting standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare management reports, including monthly actual vs. budget and sales forecast analysis.
Prepare and submit mandatory regulatory filings within statutory deadlines.
Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS, with focus on IFRS 17.
Coordinate with auditors and provide audit support.
Supervise junior accountants and review their work.
Perform month-end closing, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and adjustments.
Prepare and review journal entries for branches and agencies.
Perform reconciliations for banks, clients, insurers, suppliers, and intercompany accounts.
