Job summary

BEMCON ENGINEERING PRIVATE LIMITED in Bahrain seeks a Seed Processing Operator to oversee the flow of seed through processing and conditioning, following company guidelines and ensuring accurate measurement for manufacturing orders.

You will review material availability, schedule process orders, coordinate with warehouse, monitor on-time quality and productivity, and maintain clean, organized work areas while promoting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Review and monitor seeds material and prioritize process orders.
• Coordinate with warehouse for seed availability.
• Check seed availability per process orders and report ambiguities.
• Confirm cleaning condition of equipment before packing and processing.
• Increase functional knowledge through knowledge exchange and training.
• Monitor targets and report daily performance of on-time quality, productivity, and issues.
• Post process order confirmations and inventory handovers accurately.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor seeds material and prioritizing and scheduling of process orders in alignment with daily plan.
• Coordinate with warehouse team for the availability of seeds as per the Process orders
• Check the availability of the Seeds as per the process orders and report any ambiguity.
• Confirms cleaning condition of equipment before packing and Processing
• Increase functional knowledge through knowledge exchange, team development programs.
• Monitor the targets and reporting daily performance of on time quality, productivity and operational issues to meetings.
• Ensure the correct posting of process order confirmation, seed materials and handover inventory to warehouse team along with order confirmation sheet.
• Plan and ensure the appropriate and consistent functional trainings to contract workforce to enhance the skills in processing.
• To support administrative procedures, documenting key readings, maintenance orders and production information
• Ability to observe abnormalities and be able to act accordingly
• Lead areas across the plant in driving the adoption of continuous improvement practices and programs, conducive to an organized and clean work environment.
• Utilize techniques to initiate process and standard work improvements
• Lead projects within operations and be a part of cross functional teams. Participate and prepare to lead morning meetings as needed
• Lead and direct others in various aspects of department functions, effectively directing resources to maximize production
