Job Summary

The Security Guard is responsible for safeguarding personnel, property, materials, and equipment at construction and project sites. This role ensures a secure environment by controlling access, monitoring premises, reporting irregularities, and enforcing safety and security procedures in line with company policies and site-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries at the project site.
• Verify credentials of employees, visitors, and subcontractors; maintain detailed access logs and visitor records.
• Conduct regular patrols of site perimeter, storage areas, and critical infrastructure to deter and detect unauthorized activity.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations calmly and effectively; escalate incidents as necessary.
• Inspect security systems (e.g., lighting, locks, cameras) and report malfunctions or safety hazards to the Site Supervisor.
• Support inventory protection by observing loading/unloading of materials and checking for signs of tampering or theft.
• Assist in enforcing site regulations, including PPE compliance, visitor escort requirements, and restricted area control.
• Participate in site evacuation drills and emergency response training as directed.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident logs, and any required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and remain vigilant throughout all shifts, including during extended or overnight hours.

• Valid security guard license or certification (as per national/local regulations).
• Working knowledge of security systems, access control tools, and incident reporting protocols.

Working Conditions
