Job summary

PeakFleet in Dar Kulaib Bahrain is seeking a Seasonal Executive Chef to lead culinary operations at a luxurious resort during the busy season. You will oversee menu development, kitchen leadership, and guest-focused dining experiences.

The role requires proven resort or high-end restaurant experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage food costs while upholding top quality. On-site accommodation is provided and shifts include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef in high-end resorts or restaurants.
• Strong leadership and team training abilities.
• Creative dishes using seasonal ingredients.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Ability to manage food costs while maintaining quality.
• Familiarity with kitchen health and safety regulations.
• Capable of handling peak-season pressure and weekend/holiday shifts.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.

We are currently hiring for a Seasonal Executive Chef to join our team at a luxurious resort in Dar Kulaib Bahrain. As an Executive Chef you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our resort during our busy season.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and create innovative menus based on guest preferences and seasonal ingredients
• Manage and train a team of kitchen staff including sous chefs, line cooks and prep cooks
• Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and presented in an appealing manner
• Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area following all health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to create a memorable dining experience for guests
• Conduct regular meetings with kitchen staff to discuss menu changes, specials and any other relevant information

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or resort setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
• Creativity and passion for creating unique dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients
• Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Ability to manage food costs while maintaining high-quality standards
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchen
• Ability to work well under pressure during peak season
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Salary & Benefits

• This is a seasonal position with a salary of $1400 per month
