Job summary

IPS Intelligent Process Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP Integration Developer for an on-site assignment in Dhahran to support SAP outbound interfaces for an Asset Performance Management project.

The role covers SAP CPI, S/4HANA, PO/PI, RFC, BAPI, IDoc development, and integration testing within the SAP environment. You will collaborate with the Customer SAP team and follow security and governance procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience developing SAP interfaces (RFC, BAPI, IDoc) and outbound interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of SAP CPI, S/4HANA, PO/PI.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience in SAP PM integration and Enterprise Asset Management integrations.
• Experience in large-scale industrial or utility environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, integration, and testing of SAP interfaces between the Asset Performance Management platform and the Customer SAP environment.
• Collaborate with Customer SAP team to ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and governance.
• Participate in integration testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.

About the Role

We are currently executing an Asset Performance Management (APM) project and are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Developer who is based in, or willing to travel to, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, to support the development of SAP outbound interfaces. This is a short-term engagement. All deliverables will be subject to review and acceptance by our client.

Scope of Work

The selected developer will be responsible for the development, configuration, integration, and testing of SAP interfaces between the Asset Performance Management platform and the Customer SAP environment.

• Development of SAP objects, including RFCs, BAPIs, IDocs, and custom ABAP developments.
• Configuration and development activities within SAP S/4HANA, SAP PO, and SAP CPI (SAP Integration Suite).
• Development of outbound interfaces from SAP to external applications using SAP CPI.
• Collaboration with the Customer SAP team to ensure compliance with Customer standards, procedures, and governance requirements.
• Participation in integration testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.

The scope includes approximately 6–7 interfaces, covering the following functional areas:

• Equipment
• Functional Locations
• Notifications
• Work Orders
• FRACAS
• Task Groups

Working Arrangement:

• The developer will be provided with a Customer network ID and Customer-issued laptop.
• Upon onboarding, the developer will work directly within the Customer SAP environment and coordinate closely with the Customer SAP organization.
• The developer will follow all Customer security, development, and change management procedures.
• Integration between SAP PM and the Asset Performance Management platform will be performed subject to Customer stakeholder approvals.
