Job summary

Swabbs W.L.L is seeking a proactive Sales Representative in Bahrain to grow the hygiene and cleaning products business. You will open new customer accounts, secure retail listings and drive repeat sales through consistent follow-up and field visits.

You will build strong relationships with retail buyers, manage negotiations and coordinate deliveries with the operations team to ensure on-time product availability and accurate invoicing. English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG field sales, preferably in Bahrain.
• Experience selling cleaning, hygiene or personal care products is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to open accounts and secure retail product listings.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach supermarkets, hypermarkets, grocery stores, wholesalers and other relevant customers.
• Open new accounts and manage the customer registration and onboarding process.
• Present the product range, provide samples and negotiate pricing, payment terms and listings within approved company guidelines.
• Secure listings for new products and expand the range stocked by existing customers.
• Plan daily market visits and maintain a pipeline of prospects, negotiations and confirmed accounts.
• Generate orders and build repeat business through regular customer follow-up.
• Monitor stock availability, shelf placement, pricing and product visibility at customer outlets.
• Coordinate deliveries with the operations team and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Follow up on payments and collections within agreed credit terms.
• Monitor competitor products, prices and promotions, and report market opportunities.
• Submit regular reports covering visits, new accounts, listings, sales, collections and customer feedback.

The Sales Representative will grow Swabbs’ hygiene and cleaning products business by opening new customer accounts, securing product listings and generating repeat sales. The role requires active field sales, strong relationships with retail buyers and consistent follow-up to build market coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Organised, self-motivated and comfortable working towards measurable targets.
• Basic proficiency in Excel and sales reporting; experience with CRM or sales applications is an advantage.
• Valid Bahrain driving licence.
• English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
