Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Room Service Order Taker to contribute to outstanding guest experiences in Bahrain. You will be responsible for taking and delivering orders with warmth, promoting menu items, and ensuring accurate billing and timely service.

Responsibilities

• Answer room service calls, announce specials, promote menu items, document orders and input into POS system with speed and accuracy.
• Greet guests, take and serve orders accurately, maintain high level of service.
• Process payments, ensure receipt and tip handling complies with guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain safety and sanitation.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.

As a Room Service Order Taker, you’re not just helping prepare for dining and event service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you'll do during a typical day:

• Support all F&B operations: Promptly answer room service calls, announce any specials, promote menu items and answer questions regarding the preparation methods; Document orders, repeat items back to callers to ensure accuracy and quote expected arrival time with speed and accuracy; immediately input orders into point of sale system, allowing kitchen team to begin preparation;
• Delight our guests: Greet guests warmly, take and serve orders accurately, and ensure a consistently high level of service
• Comply with accounting guideline: Process payment for orders upon return of the Room Service Waiter/Waitress; comply with accounting guidelines regarding receipt of payments, check total verification, tip disbursement, cash drawer and house account management.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety: Keep work areas clean and organized
• Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
