Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Quality Leader to head the organization’s QA function in Bahrain. You will design and drive QMS, oversee inspection, testing, audits, and CAPA programs, and partner with engineering, operations, procurement and HSE to ensure safety and compliance.

You will mentor QA professionals, analyze quality metrics, and communicate with clients and regulators to uphold the highest standards across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
• Typically 8-12+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance / quality management
• Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and auditing practices
• Experience with quality tools (e.g., RCA, Six Sigma, statistical analysis)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the organization’s quality assurance function
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality management systems (QMS)
• Oversee quality planning, inspection, testing, and auditing activities
• Establish quality policies, procedures, and performance metrics
• Analyze quality data, metrics, and performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives
• Ensure successful completion of internal and external audits
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and compliance
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, and HSE teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies on quality-related matters
• Implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Manage, mentor, and support professional development of quality assurance personnel
