Job summary

Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Production Engineer for our Askar, Bahrain factory. The role involves leading production in the workshop, managing a large fabrication/welding crew, and ensuring efficiency and 5S standards. Autodesk and Epicor familiarity is preferred.

A strong background in sheet metal fabrication is essential. Ideal candidates will have at least five years of hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, including laser cutting, press braking, rolling, and MIG/TIG

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal machinery and processes.
• Experience supervising fabrication and welding teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day workshop production activities with supervisors and leads.
• Monitor and manage daily production schedules.
• Supervise a team of fabrication and welding professionals.
• Oversee metal fabrication detailing with hand-sketching.
• Ensure efficiency of sheet metal machines and PPE compliance.
• Maintain 5S in the workshop and enforce discipline.

Havelock One Interiors is looking for a ‘Production Engineer’ to join our factory in Askar, Bahrain.

Background

We specialize in interior contracting and manufacturing bespoke joinery, metal works, and sophisticated shop fittings. As a result of expansion in the key growth market of Bahrain, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Production Engineer to take our business forward. Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production work in the workshop alongside the supervisor and team leads, managing 50 to 60 fabrication/welding professionals
• Monitor daily production schedules
• Supervise a team of 20 fabrication and welding professionals
• Possess hand-sketching skills for bespoke metal fabrication detailing
• Oversee production under the supervision of the production engineer
• Ensure efficiency of sheet metal machines
• Maintain 5S principles in the workshop
• Enforce discipline among workers and ensure compliance with PPE requirements
• Basic knowledge of Autodesk and Epicor

Personal qualities

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Sheet metal fabrication industry
• Good knowledge of sheet metal machinery and processes, including laser cutting, press brake, rolling, MIG/TIG welding, and fabrication tools
• Strong experience in metal interior fabrication
