Qualifications

Job Overview

Job Title: OSP/ISP Construction Technical Support

Location: NSA, Manama, Bahrain

Job Responsibilities:

1. Plan and prepare drawings for new, removal, or rearrangement of existing overhead or underground lines, cables, and conduits to optimize and economize communications facilities.
2. Possess knowledge of Phone Installer work.
3. Demonstrate technical documentation skills.
4. Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance acceptable).
• US Citizenship is required due to contract requirements.
• At least seven (7) years of experience installing copper and fiber cabling, fiber optic modems, multiplex equipment, patch panels, distribution frames, lightning protection, grounding, and power connections.
• At least seven (7) years of experience installing cabinets, cable ladder, rack systems, and equipment components.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a military environment.
• Certifications: BICSI or similar.
• Valid passport and ability to travel OCONUS up to 10%.
• Education: Associate's degree in a Scientific Technical discipline or 11 years of recent specialized experience.
