Qualifications

• Active US Government Secret clearance (Interim acceptable)
• US citizenship is required
• Seven years of experience installing copper and fiber cabling, fiber modems, patch panels, and associated equipment
• Seven years of experience installing cabinets, cable ladder and rack systems
• Two years in a military environment
• BICSI or similar certification
• Travel to support mission up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare drawings for new, removal or rearrangement of overhead or underground lines, cables, and conduits to optimize utilization of communications facilities
• Knowledgable with Phone Installer work
• Experienced in technical documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
