Job description

The Naval Architect is responsible for the design, development, and analysis of marine vessels and structures. This role involves applying engineering principles to ensure vessels are safe, efficient, and meet regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, creativity in design, and a thorough understanding of marine engineering principles.

Key Business Factors

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze marine vessels, including hulls, structures, and systems, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for projects.
  • Oversee the construction and testing of vessels, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct research and development to innovate and improve existing designs and technologies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies relevant to naval architecture.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and updates on project status.
