Job summary

NTU International A/S seeks a Senior Non-Key Expert – Monitoring & Evaluation to support the EU-funded project "Egypt Downtown Facility" based in Bahrain. The assignment focuses on monitoring, evaluation and results-based management, including developing results frameworks, indicators and monitoring tools, as well as evaluations and impact assessments.

The expert will also deliver capacity-building sessions and contribute to improving programme effectiveness and policy dialogue between the EU

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics, statistics, development studies, public policy, social sciences or related field.
• Arabic language skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring, evaluation and results-based management systems.
• Develop indicators, baselines, targets, results frameworks and monitoring tools.
• Conduct evaluations, impact assessments and performance reviews.
• Provide training and capacity building in M&E and RBM.

Job description

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU-funded project called: “Egypt Downtown Facility.”

The overall objective of this assignment is to enhance the effectiveness, coherence and visibility of the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between the European Union and the Arab Republic of Egypt by providing rapid, flexible and high-quality technical assistance in support of jointly agreed bilateral cooperation priorities. This objective will contribute to strengthened policy dialogue, improved programme implementation and reinforced institutional capacities of Egyptian partner entities involved in EU-funded actions.

In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Senior Non-Key Expert – Monitoring & Evaluation to support technical assistance assignments related to monitoring, evaluation and results-based management, including the development of results frameworks, indicators and monitoring tools, as well as evaluations, impact assessments and performance reviews.

Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree in economics, statistics, development studies, public policy, social sciences, or a related field.
• Arabic is desirable.

Professional Experience

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience designing and implementing monitoring, evaluation and results-based management systems.
• Experience developing indicators, baselines, targets, results frameworks and monitoring tools
• Experience conducting evaluations, impact assessments and/or performance reviews
• Experience providing training, capacity building sessions is desired.
• Experience with EU funded programmes is an asset.
