Job summary

Ecojob is seeking a detail-oriented Merchandiser for Al-Malikiyah, Syria. You will plan and coordinate purchasing and displays to maximize sales and customer satisfaction in our retail stores.

The role requires at least 2 years in merchandising, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to travel where needed. This is a contract position with a minimum commitment of 6 months and may involve heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry.
• Proven track record of increasing sales through effective merchandising strategies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers, store staff, and customers.
• Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in the retail industry.
• Biometric passport for easy travel between Syria and neighboring countries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
• Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to create effective merchandise displays
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for products in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotions and advertising strategies
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper product placement and presentation
• Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques
• Prepare reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback
