Job summary

Tanqeeb in Bahrain is seeking a Quantity Surveyor - Mechanical to provide technical and commercial support during pre-contract tendering. You will prepare quantity take-offs for plumbing, drainage, HVAC, and mechanical infrastructure, and coordinate RFQs.

You will work with the estimation team to ensure accurate costing, procurement inputs, and high-quality tender documentation. A degree in mechanical engineering and 2+ years in MEP tendering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of mechanical quantity surveying or tendering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PlanSwift/Bluebeam, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for mechanical systems from drawings and specs.
• Prepare RFQs for mechanical works and coordinate with suppliers.
• Review quotations for compliance with tender requirements.
• Assist in updating BOQs and cost estimates.
• Support senior estimator in tender submissions and pricing.
