Job summary

Zain Bahrain is seeking a seasoned Cyber Security leader to plan, organize, and manage the Cyber Security Unit and its staff to ensure stable operations. You will develop policies, align processes with organizational goals, and drive high-quality services across the core infrastructure, network and applications.

You will coach team members, provide training, and oversee procurement and project execution to strengthen security posture and meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage staff and operations for Cyber Security.
• Develop, maintain and optimize core functional areas of Cyber Security.
• Set Cyber Security unit performance objectives.
• Monitor progress and report on performance and strategic objectives.
• Develop and implement Cyber Security unit policies and procedures.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure high performance standards.
• Ensure services meet established KPIs and SLAs.
• Manage an integrated cyber security solution protecting core infra, network and apps.
• Coach and train team members on technical and soft skills.
• Provide training and technical support for users with varying cyber security knowledge.
• Manage procurement, installation, testing and development of IT and security projects.
• Establish and manage enterprise IT security policy.
• Evaluate infrastructure and security proposals and recommend solutions.
• Identify customer requirements, exceed expectations and ensure satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role

Responsible to plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations to ensure the stable running of the organization's Cyber Security. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas.

What We Need From You

Set Cyber Security unit performance objectives.

Continuously monitor progress and development towards organizational and Unit strategic objectives and communicate periodic performance reports to provide evaluation results and recommend improvements.

Develop and implement Cyber Security unit policies and procedures in order to ensure the fulfilment of organizational requirements whilst delivering high-quality services.

Carry-out the day-to-day operations of the Cyber Security Unit, provide expertise, encourage teamwork and align work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employee in a motivated work environment.

Ensure the quality of services is performed in a way that meets according to the established KPI's.

Ensure the services' availability and reliability, which align with SLA and QoS.

Manage and improve an integrated cyber security solution that helps to protect the core infrastructure, the network, and the applications that run within the network.

Coach new/existing team members the needed technical and soft skills to perform the job effectively.

Provide training and technical support for users with varying levels of cyber security knowledge and competence.

Manage the procurement, installation, testing and developing IT and security projects.

Establish and manage the enterprise IT security policy.

Evaluate infrastructure and security proposals and recommend the required solutions that meet the security requirements.

Identify customer’s requirements correctly, exceed customer expectations and act proactively for ensuring customer satisfaction.

Perform any other related duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications and Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, Cyber Security, communication engineering, or any related field.

8 to 10 years experience in the same area in the Telecom field.

Possess solid and security technical experience.
