Job summary

Hudson Manpower is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician (Light Vehicle) to diagnose, service and repair vehicles to dealership standards. You will work in a busy service department with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on skills in engine, transmission and differential work, plus basic electrical troubleshooting and clear communication in English. Prior dealership experience is preferred and a technical cert is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership experience as an Automotive Technician.
• Strong hands-on skills in engine, transmission, and differential overhauling.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
• Able to read, write, and speak basic English.
• Relevant technical/trade certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance services on light vehicles as per manufacturer standards.
• Carry out overhaul of transmission, engine, and differential systems.
• Diagnose and repair basic electrical faults.
• Follow dealership repair procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate service records and job cards.
• Communicate clearly with team leads/supervisors on job status.
