• Strong knowledge of land surveying principles and techniques
• Excellent mathematical skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys to establish property boundaries, topography and other features
• Prepare accurate measurements, calculations and data for construction projects
• Create maps, plats, legal descriptions and other documents
• Analyze survey data for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements
• Work closely with engineers, architects and other professionals on construction projects
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff members if needed
