Job summary

Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa is seeking a friendly Kids Club Attendant to join our hospitality team in Manama. You will welcome young guests, supervise activities, and help create a safe, fun environment for children and families.

Ideal candidates are patient, creative, and capable of flexible shifts, with good English communication. First Aid/CPR is a plus and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in hospitality, childcare, or related environments.
• Friendly, patient and caring demeanor with families.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with parents and children.

Responsibilities

• Welcome children and families warmly and provide attentive service.
• Supervise children and ensure safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Plan and conduct age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, and recreational activities.
• Keep the Kids Club clean, organized and safe.
• Communicate professionally with parents and respond to their needs.
• Follow all hotel safety, hygiene and child protection standards.
• Support children's activities and special events at the resort.
• Create enjoyable and memorable experiences for our young guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome children and families warmly and provide attentive service.
• Supervise children and ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Plan and conduct age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, and recreational activities.
• Keep the Kids Club clean, organized and safe.
• Communicate professionally with parents and respond to their needs.
• Follow all hotel safety, hygiene and child protection standards.
• Support children's activities and special events at the resort.
• Create enjoyable and memorable experiences for our young guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a hotel, resort, nursery, school, childcare or recreational environment.
• Friendly, patient and caring personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, energetic and comfortable engaging with children.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• First Aid/CPR certification is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills. Additional languages are an advantage.
