Job summary

AECOM is seeking a motivated Junior Project Controls Analyst with 2-5 years of experience to support project planning, cost control, financial management, reporting, and performance monitoring across multiple projects. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related disciplines is preferred, with strong analytical and data management skills.

This role offers exposure to earned value management, scheduling with Primavera P6/Microsoft Project, and portfolio reporting within a dynamic project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in project controls/cost control/scheduling/PMO.
• Strong analytical, reporting and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project financial management activities including budget tracking, forecasting, cost monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Assist in maintaining project cost reports, dashboards, and financial performance summaries.
• Develop understanding of company financial systems, project accounting processes, and project financial controls.
• Apply financial terminology and principles when analyzing project performance.
• Monitor actual costs against budgets and funding limitations and highlight variances.
• Support revenue recognition and project profitability monitoring.
• Assist in tracking purchase orders, subcontract commitments, accruals, and expenditures.
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.
• Assist with EAC/ETC and cash flow analysis.
