Job summary

DHL Bahrain is looking for an experienced Government Relations Specialist to manage day-to-day visa and regulatory activities and to support staff relocation within Bahrain. You will work with LMRA, SIO and the Labour Ministry to ensure timely visa renewals and compliance.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as you will maintain electronic records, prepare bilingual correspondences and support in cross-department government liaison tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR government relations.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking Arabic and English.
• University Diploma as a minimum requirement.
• Computer skills are mandatory.
• Experience dealing with government offices in an official capacity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain employee records and filing system in line with legislative requirements.
• Manage public relations/document records online and offline.
• Coordinate visa-related payments and expatriate documentation.
• Liaise with LMRA, SIO and Labour Ministry to process visas, renewals and cancellations.
• Prepare Arabic and English correspondences for government offices.
• Translate documents as required.
• Assist management with workplace accident logs and related paperwork.
