Job summary

Shomeli Furniture in Bahrain is seeking an Interior Designer / Showroom Merchandiser to design and execute on-brand furniture displays, room settings, and visual layouts that maximize space and drive retail sales.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, 3-5 years in furniture retail or showroom design, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3D visualization, with strong space-planning and communication skills.

• 3-5 years of solid experience in furniture retail, showroom design, or residential interior design.

Responsibilities

• Showroom Merchandising: Design and execute on-brand furniture displays and layouts to maximize space and drive retail sales.
• Client Consultations: Conduct design consultations, draft floor plans, create 3D mood boards, and guide clients on custom furniture specifications.
• Brand Advocacy: Represent design philosophy, build relationships with architects/designers, and deliver top-tier customer service.
• Product & Trend Research: Stay ahead of regional/global interior design trends and collaborate with product development and sales.

Position Overview

• Role: Interior Designer / Showroom Merchandiser
• Company: Shomeli Furniture (A leading manufacturer and retail seller of high-end, contemporary furniture)
• Location: Bahrain
• Salary: 200 BD (Bahraini Dinar) + Food Included + Company Accommodation & Transportation Provided!
• Schedule: 8 Hours/Day | 6 Days/Week (Optional Overtime)

Key Responsibilities

• Showroom Merchandising: Design and execute stunning, on-brand furniture displays, room settings, and visual layouts to maximize space efficiency and drive retail sales.
• Client Consultations: Conduct expert design consultations, draft floor plans, create 3D visualizations/mood boards, and guide clients on custom furniture specifications.
• Brand Advocacy: Represent Shomeli's design philosophy, build long-term relationships with professional networks (architects/designers), and provide top-tier customer service.
• Product & Trend Research: Stay ahead of regional and global interior design trends while collaborating with product development and sales teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of solid experience in furniture retail, showroom design, or residential interior design.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3D visualization software, alongside strong space-planning abilities.
