Job Description

Responsible to supervise and coordinate guests in a friendly and timely manner to provide fast and courteous service.

Responsibilities

  • Able to courteously assign guests to tables suitable for the size of the group, and escort patrons to their seats.
  • Able to adjust patron seating flow in such manner as to balance customers among the various service stations.
  • Able to communicate with guest and clients to ensure reservations are properly recorded and all needs met.
  • Able to present menus and wine lists and explanations for all special items listed.
  • Provide friendly, courteous and efficient service to all guests with making eye contact, smiling and maintaining proper posture.
  • Able to coordinate with other supportive departments in order to ensure that snacks and beverages are prepared and served promptly.
  • Able to help in the promotion of the Allure Club, during the days when the club is not operational.
  • Reporting about the everyday business of the restaurant to the management and bring to their notice if any problem has arisen.

Skills And Abilities

  • Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely.
  • Knowledge of the menu and beverage list and the ability to communicate clear suggestions to the guests.
  • Auditory and visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.

Working conditions

Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderated and controlled by facility environmental systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time.
  • Able to lift up to 25lbs. and on a regular and continuing basis.
  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
  • Manual dexterity required to use and operate all necessary equipment.
  • Talking, hearing and seeing (vision) occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, Supervisors and other Employees.

Qualifications

Education: Hospitality degree or equivalent education preferred.

Experience Required: Minimum 4 years of experience required in same post.
