Job summary

Workato is seeking a Head Baker in Al-Malikiyah, Syria to oversee all bakery operations and lead a team of bakers. You will develop new recipes, manage inventory, and ensure high quality while maintaining food safety standards.

We require at least 5 years of professional baking experience in a high-volume environment, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Accommodation may be provided.

Head Baker

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our bakery operations, including creating and testing new recipes, managing inventory and supplies, and leading a team of bakers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test new recipes for breads, pastries, and other baked goods
• Manage inventory and supplies to ensure efficient operation of the bakery
• Train and supervise a team of bakers to maintain high quality standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
• Monitor production schedules to meet customer demands
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with other departments to develop seasonal menus and specials
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or inquiries related to bakery products

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a professional baker in a high-volume bakery or restaurant setting
• Proficient in creating a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to lead a team effectively with strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this full-time position. Accommodation can also be provided for the right candidate.
