Job summary

MechaForce in Manama, Bahrain is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our maintenance team. The role focuses on building maintenance, repairs and renovations, including plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks.

You will perform inspections, install fixtures, paint and manage supplies, coordinating with tenants and colleagues. Strong problem-solving, English communication, and the ability to work independently and in a team are valued. Accommodation provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Handyman or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry work.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and identify any necessary repairs or maintenance tasks
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs as needed
• Install and repair fixtures such as doors, windows and cabinets
• Paint walls and touch up any damaged areas
• Handle general maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing leaky faucets, etc
• Keep track of inventory and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked
• Work with other team members to complete larger maintenance projects
• Communicate with tenants or residents to address any concerns or issues they may have

Salary 1300$ per month negotiable based on experience
