Job summary

Graduate entrants join AECOM's ADVANCE program in Bahrain, gaining exposure to the full spectrum of engineering disciplines. The program builds essential business and personal skills, facilitating the transition from student to professional.

Graduates will perform a broad, well-rounded learning experience across disciplines, with emphasis on design and coordination activities and BIM/CAD tools within project teams.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates within last 24 months (or by Sep 2024) eligible for the ADVANCE program.
• Minimum GPA 3.2+ required for entry to the program.
• Bahraini national is required for eligibility.
• If holding a Master’s Degree, it must have started within 12 months of completing the Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams and models under supervision.
• Assist with design content using technical knowledge to ensure quality within timelines.
• Work under budget and schedule under supervision.
• Collect and analyse information from discipline and BIM models.
• Use computer software to solve engineering problems.
• Coordinate with other Engineers to keep design progressing.
• Participate in design progress and coordination meetings.
• Check quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams against instructions.
• Proactively seek information and opportunities to improve processes.
• Contribute by applying experience to atypical tasks.
