Job summary

AECOM in Bahrain invites recent graduates to join the ADVANCE graduate program. You will engage in all elements of the program designed to build essential business and personal skills as you transition from student to professional.

The program lasts about 24 months, with duties across engineering design, data analysis, and documentation under supervision, preparing you for future professional-level roles within our global team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in MechanicalEngineering from an accredited University.
  • Recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no earlier than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 and above.

  • Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.

  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
  • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.

Job Description

Graduates joining the business in a Graduate role and engaging in all elements of the ADVANCE program. The program is designed to introduce and build essential business and personal skills, helping to enhance the transition from student to professional.

Graduates are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the field they are joining at Graduate entry level.

The ADVANCE program lasts approx. 24 months but the successful completion of the program is only to be used as an indicator for strong performance in line with other indicators (strong or above performance rating etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in MechanicalEngineering from an accredited University.
  • Bahraini National.
  • Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no earlierthan September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.2 and above.
  • If you hold a Master’s Degree, it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelor’s Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.
  • Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.

Program Onboarding & Orientation: October 2026(This includes an induction and meet-and-greet for the entire graduate cohort from all our offices in the ME)
