Responsibilities for this position include:

• Manage the food safety program within the pilot plant including achieving compliance with any required external standards.
• Maintain good communication standards across the business environment.
• Provide technical expertise and support to customers for a broad range of food & beverage applications.
• Utilize project management skills and knowledge management tools to bring the best solutions to customers and manage & prioritize work.
• Promote ingredients and capabilities through article contributions (media), speaking engagements, and external presentations (events, trade organization educational sessions).
• Manage multiple projects and tasks with changing priorities and communicate effectively to keep account manager, customer, and Technical Services Manager apprised of project status.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and professional environment.
• Work on improving the formulation and stability properties of natural colors, light stability, and thermal stability, by physical modification of the colorants.
