Job summary

Work in USA in Muharraq is seeking a friendly Cashier to join our busy retail store. You will process customer transactions, handle cash and card payments, and deliver excellent service.

Greet customers, scan items, balance the register, and answer questions. This role requires accuracy, quick math, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is preferred; salary is 1300 USD per month with no accommodation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a cashier or in a similar role.
• Excellent math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately.
• Friendly personality with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a welcoming smile and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Accurately scan and process items for purchase using the POS system.
• Handle cash transactions, including counting cash, giving correct change, and balancing the register at the end of each shift.
• Process credit card payments and ensure all transactions are authorized correctly.
• Ensure pricing accuracy by verifying prices on products and updating as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to create a positive shopping experience for customers.
• Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and store policies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient store operations.
