Job summary

Enerflex is seeking a hands-on Operations Technician to assist in safe, efficient plant operation and to support production targets. Under supervision, you will perform routine tasks while ensuring safety and procedural standards.

You will operate and monitor process equipment, record parameters, report abnormalities, and assist in start-ups and shutdowns as directed by supervisors. This role requires basic maintenance checks, handover of information to the next shift, and a willingness to work

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Industrial Processes, Chemical, Petroleum or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in Oil & Gas.
• Familiar with plant equipment and processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good English; Arabic an asset.
• Willing to work long shifts at remote sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safe and efficient plant operation to meet production targets.
• Operate and monitor process equipment per safety standards.
• Record equipment parameters and report abnormalities.
• Support start-ups, shutdowns, and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct basic daily/weekly/monthly checks under supervision.
• Ensure timely handover of information to the next shift.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions.
• Comply with HR, Quality, HSE policies and company guidelines.
• Perform duties at remote sites and during different shift schedules.
