Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton in Manama, Bahrain seeks an experienced Engineering Leader to oversee all maintenance operations, safety, and asset protection. You will manage budgets, CAPEX, and energy initiatives while directing the engineering team and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires an engineering degree and at least 5 years in a hotel engineering department, preferably with Ritz-Carlton. You will lead emergency response and drive continuous improvements in service quality.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree/diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering leadership within a hotel environment (Ritz-Carlton or similar).

Responsibilities

• Manage all engineering/maintenance operations and safety considerations.
• Oversee budget, CAPEX projects and energy conservation.
• Lead emergency response for facility issues and regulatory compliance.
• Direct and develop the Engineering team; coordinate with internal/external teams.
• Plan maintenance scheduling to minimize guest disruption and downtime.
• Attend meetings and provide reports to improve services and standards.
