Job summary

Flyper seeks a Reference Librarian to provide reference and research assistance to library patrons, supporting collection development, cataloging, and administrative duties. The successful candidate will leverage strong search skills and knowledge of library resources to aid patrons effectively.

Responsibilities include assisting users with resources, teaching database use, and collaborating on programs while delivering excellent customer service in a busy library setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a library setting.
• Strong knowledge of reference resources, search techniques, and online databases.
• Familiarity with MARC21 or AACR2 cataloging standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work with diverse populations.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must have a valid biometric passport for travel purposes.

$1100 per month (negotiable based on qualifications)

Hours:
