Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel in Bahrain is seeking a Male Fitness Instructor with strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills. The role focuses on delivering superior fitness instruction to hotel members and guests, creating customized programs, and upselling personal training.

You will oversee group and private sessions, maintain equipment, and ensure high hospitality standards while coordinating with the Spa leadership to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred in an exercise science related field (Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Integrative Physiology, Human Movement, Physical Therapy, Exercise Physiology)
• A national certification in Personal Training & Corrective Exercise.
• Ability to provide comprehensive fitness services including counseling, evaluation, and exercise prescription, body composition assessment, postural assessment, and related fitness assessments

Responsibilities

• Provide superior level of fitness instruction to Four Seasons members and guests.
• Deliver high quality private and group fitness instruction that meets and exceeds expectations.
• Handle member and guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests when possible and resolve complaints.
• Develop and execute training plans to meet health and wellness goals for members and guests.
• Provide personal trainer shift coverage as scheduled by the Director of Spa to satisfy demand and maximize revenue.
• Maintain cleanliness of fitness equipment as scheduled by the Spa leadership.
• Complete fitness instruction billing according to Four Seasons procedures.
• Promote personal training and fitness activities through frequent member and guest interactions.
• Describe training lessons and upsell personal training alongside spa services.
• Maintain locker facilities and gym equipment cleanliness.
• Conduct personal training sessions for individuals and groups.
• Create tailor-made programs for internal hotel and external guests.
• Assist guests in accessing spa facilities including locker rooms and pool deck.
• Comply with Four Seasons Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
• Collaborate professionally with coworkers and supervisors.
