Title: Senior Teaching Fellow: Marketing

We currently provide eight undergraduate programmes in Engineering, Science, and Business, with future phases set to expand our offerings in research and innovation. Main Activities/Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design, development, and delivery for a range of teaching materials at undergraduate level and/or postgraduate, including contribution to curriculum review and enhancement, in a manner that supports a research-informed approach to student learning.
  2. Develop and apply innovative and appropriate teaching techniques and material which create interest, understanding and enthusiasm amongst students.
  3. Support teaching teams and provide leadership for the teaching area, providing support and guidance to colleagues and supervising students as appropriate.
  4. Lead the development and submission of proposals to secure funding for teaching development activities.
  5. Manage and resolve student issues, including those referred by other academic staff.
  6. Lead scholarship activities developing and producing learning resources and strategies and disseminating results through publication in professional journals and/or presentation at external conferences as appropriate to the discipline.
  7. Design and manage processes in relation to student assessment, examination, and feedback activities.
  8. Engage in continuous professional development, which may include establishing, in a developing capacity, a personal portfolio of research activity.
  9. Carry out Department/School, Faculty and/or University senior administrative and management functions, for example by convening or participating in relevant committees.

Honours degree and PhD (or equivalent professional experience) in Marketing or related discipline.
